PHS was quite an experience. It sure has fulfilled my wish to yak and yak non stop. I can so imagine joel showing me that stupid handsign and go:" haiz you! talking non stop again! yak yak yak yak!" hahahaha. Yea, all of us had a rather interesting time helping people fill up the questionaire. Xue ting had a lady who kept repeating the story of how she fell down the escalator and everytime she repeats, she'll go: " oh papa! oh mama! oh jesus! oh lord! oh auntie! oh uncle! oh........." and the list stretches on.
It sure was a test of our chinese languange too! Someone shld publish a dictionary of medical terms in mandarin. Non of us could rmbr what pap smear is called in chinese. Qian tai was the ultimate. Colorectal cancer became mang2 chang2 yan2 which actually means appendicitis. erm.. am i right?!
Too bad we didn't get to try out the other jobs like ushering and taking the bp. I had to rush off for a cousins' lunch gathering at my place.
Starting my shopping spree tmr! Yeah! Finally, my much awaited trip to bangkok, the shopping paradise!! Msg me if you guys wanna buy anything from there.
