Went to sch for a physio CA review today. Lecture lasted only 20 mins and i was late for school by 10 mins. So 20-10 =10mins. Darn! I travelled all the way just to attend a 10 min lecture. Dotz. . Then, its lunch with serene at NUH. While eating chicken rice, my spoon flew all the way to the extreme right of the table. It was orginally on my left hand and i was sitting on the extereme left of the table. Gosh..i'm so embarassed. We couldn't stop laughing. Haha! Maybe its some spinal reflex, maybe the spoon was possesed. haha! Why am i so capable of embarrasing myself infront of the public? Haha! My life is interesting, except for the mugging of course. Maybe i do have angelman sydrome. Haha! I still rmbr all my friends staring at me when the lecture covered this disease in the lecture some time ago.

Some syptoms:
Delayed motor development, such as delay in sitting, crawling and walking. (nope..i mean i hope not! How to rmbr?)
Speech problems. (sometimes)
Jerky, puppet-type movements. (Ah...tt explains the flying spoon)
Stiff-legged walking style. (maybe tts why i fall so often, accident-prone)
Hand flapping. (hmm...tt sounds like the sealion i saw in the zoo)
Hyperactive behaviour. (yes..definitely!!)
Loving, happy and social demeanour. (Yaya! Happy happy!)
A child easily moved to laughter. (i guess i dun have to explain the laughter part. Haha! I usu make the most noice in the theatre while watching a comedy)
Intellectual disability. A child with Angelman syndrome will have delayed development in all areas, and disability is severe in most cases. (oh man! I totally have to agree with this! Tt explains the lousy grades. Haha! )

I'm drowning! Struggling hard to survive med sch. Hmm..wait, am i trying hard enough in the first place? Haiz...pros in 9 days time but why am i still slacking? Die liao la!

Aniwae...sis just got back from perth and brought back lots of rock candy. Yummy yummy but i'm pretty sure i need the dentist after finishing all of it. Hehe...i'm notorius at the clinic for having alot of cavities. The first thing he sent me for when i visit him at the clinic is definitely an x-ray. Then its time to dig, dig and dig for cavities. There was this time when my dentist just simply can't believe that he can't find any cavities, so he looked again and again and was only happy when he found a small little cavity! Hello sir, i do brush my teeth! Haha..aniwae, he is a nice guy. Watched me grow up. Hmm..but the braces din really work, maybe cos i had mine when i was pri 5, the wisdom teeth weren't even out yet.

Physio make up CA on tues and i'm only 1% done with my revision for it. Shit! Argh! I'm forever so tired and can sleep 3 times a day. Gosh! Shldn't i have insomnia? Why is it tt it only takes 1min for me to doze off? haha!

Just got back from piano lesson at yamaha, but this time i am there as a relief teacher. Hehe! Had 3 interesting students today.

1st student: 30+ yrs old, took a really long time to read notes and is afraid of pressing on the keyboard cos of phobia of making mistakes. Only advice is wat my bowling coach used to tell me "Just do it!"

2nd student: 10 yrs old girl, from a well known pri sch. Extremely confident and full of herself. Walked into class and started singing her choir pieces. Hello, this is a piano class, not a vocal lesson! Has an attitude problem!
me:"ok. lets try both hands for this song."
girl:"Don't want!"
i so wanna slap her face!

3rd student: 6 yrs old boy, extremely quiet with an appearance like a poor little innocent sheep. Sings in only one tone, even with the piano accompanying and sounding ever so lyrical.
me:" ok braynt, wat is this note?"
boy: stares blankly back at me. (moments of silence)
me:" ok braynt, lets play, la do ti la soh"
boy: la ti do la * 5 times
*faint*

Nevertheless, i enjoy teaching more than studying. Haha!

Totally wasted my day today! Up till this time, i am still studying my first topic of the day, enzymes! What the crap...i simply can't concentrate!I sure need some drugs to improve my attention span. Any recommendations anyone?

When i decided i can't study today, i went to orchard to get dad's bdae present. Walked ard for many hours and still can't decide whether i shld buy the polo tee from burberry or lacoste. In the end, i bought neither of them cos i found out tt my dad still has a whole cupboard of unused polo tees when i called mummy to ask for her opinion. Its interesting how my dad leaves his fashion choices to my mum who dresses him in white polo tees most of the time.

Oh well, since i can't go home empty handed and also to satisfy my desire to spend, i bought home 20 durian puffs from goodwood park hotel. Haha! Yummy yummy!

"We are going to the zoo zoo zoo, how 'bout you you you" ...
Haha..had an interesting outing to the zoo today with xue ting and wan qin. Not the usual place to have a girl's day out. It was like going back to primary sch, we were all set for our excursion. Umbrella, caps, drinks, potato chips, cameras, maps, insect repellant, sun block.... Haha!We saw the rhinos fighting till they started to bleed. Animal behaviours. An added advantage of going to the zoo today: you get to see Mr. President! Haha! I'm serious! I saw president nathan on the tram. I can't believe no one ard me recognised him until they heard this crazy girl shouting "hey tts the president! Look! look! 'where? where?' There! there!" . Haha! I must say tt i'm quite a patriotic citizen even though the thought of migrating did occur before.

For dinner, we went to have yummy crabs at this restaurant to celeb dad's bday in advance cos sis will be in perth on the actual day. Guess who i saw this time..Benedict goh. The host for the old gameshow "the pyramid game". Wow..i must say he looked as young as i remember him to be from tt show. Really cute!

Just got back frm st nic's fun fair. It was ok.. and i stayed for the mep performance. Watched 4 performances. Not very impressed. Haha! Sucky thing was tt when i got to my car, i found my first ever summon on the windscreen. So so pissed. The auntie told me to park there. I shld have parked at ave 2, even though its a main road with double yellow lines on both sides. Nearly 50 cars were there and there wasn't a single summon issued. Sigh! There goes my whole week's allowance. Boohoo!

Oh no.. Heard tt the profs had finished marking our anat spots exam paper! I'm very very worried! Argh! Spots was tough. Actually, i think its just that i'm not extremely well prepared for it. Plus, i was really tired tt morning due to lack of sleep and stress. My brain wasn't really working well, resulting in many many careless mistakes. So angry with myself. I can actually think of the correct ans and yet write a wrong ans down. Only found out when i tried recalling wat i wrote. My brain and hands just don't coordinate! Argh! So shitty! think i made a least 5 careless mistakes. Haiz! I hope a miracle will happen!

Sis bought a new silent piano yesterday! Can't wait to try it but it won't be delivered so soon. She got so sick of me shouting at her to stop playing it when i'm trying to study for my CAs and also when i'm watching tv since both of the tv and piano are in the living room. Great! So now she can play all the horrible exam pieces without polluting my ears. Not tt i don't pollute hers, but i hardly touch the piano now. I prefer the organ. Haha!

Went back to sngs yesterday for lunch. Yummy food. Orange bowl noodles, sheng mian, laksa without the noodle, just taupok, malay rice, fried wanton. Everything for just the 2 of us. Haha! Gluttons = us !! Met Ms oh, my very friendly mep teacher and my form teacher, Mdm Kor. Mdm kor wasn't tt friendly. Maybe cos it happened to be her last day at sngs. Can't wait to go back for the fun fair on sat!
